Q1. Do I need previous experience to do Tae Kwon Do?

A1. No. Tae Kwon Do is a sport that can be learned and practiced at any age and any level. We have different programs to help you and your children obtain the best quality instruction.

Q2. Will there be other beginners in my class?

A2. We have several classes designed to help beginners to learn the basics in Tae Kwon Do. We also have assistant instructors in every class to give our students personal attention.

Q3. Will my classes be safe? How about sparring?

A3. All classes at the Washington Premier Taekwondo Academy are strictly monitored to ensure complete safety. From White Belt and up, we teach non-contact sparring techniques. Full sparring gear is required to participate in contact-sparring.

Q4. How many classes do I need to attend?

A4. We recommend you attend 2 classes per week. If your schedule only allows for 1 class a week, please let us know and we will give you a personalized program curriculum to help you achieve your goals.

Q5. At what age can you start Tae Kwon Do?

A5. You can start Tae Kwon Do training as early as 5 years old.

Q6. Are my memberships cancellable?

A6.  The 3-month or 10-month memberships are discounted for one-time or automated payment methods and cannot be cancelled, paused, or refunded until the membership term is up. If you are interested in our monthly program, please let us know.
